FEMA Daily Public Assistance Grant Awards Activity

alert - warning

NOTE: A new version of the Public Assistance Grant Awards Activity has been released as an API and file. It includes all data back to 1998 and will be updated daily. It continues to satisfy HR152 - Sandy Recovery Improvement Act of 2013 requirements. It will act to replace this page and the daily files it contains. As such, this page and all files will be removed by December 13, 2024. If you have any questions or comments, please contact OpenFEMA at OpenFEMA@fema.dhs.gov.

This page contains the daily activity of Public Assistance Grant Awards, including FEMA Region, State, Disaster Declaration Number, Event description, Mission Assigned agency, Assistance Requested, Obligated Federal dollars, and Date of Obligation as required by HR152 – Sandy Recovery Improvement Act of 2013.

As part of disaster declarations, the President can make Federal funding (Public Assistance) available through FEMA to state and eligible local governments and certain private nonprofit organizations.  This is done on a cost-sharing basis for emergency work and the repair (or replacement) of facilities damaged by the disaster event.

Note: FEMA obligates funding for a project directly to the Grantee (State or Tribe).  It is the Grantee's responsibility to ensure that the eligible sub-grantee (listed in the spreadsheet as Applicant Name) receives the award funding.
