Disaster Recovery Centers in Puerto Rico Closed March 30 to April 1

GUAYNABO, Puerto Rico – Disaster recovery centers across Puerto Rico are closed Friday, March 30 through Sunday, April 1 in observance of Holy Week.

The recovery centers will resume their regular operating schedules beginning Monday, April 2.

Disaster recovery centers are operated jointly by the government of Puerto Rico and FEMA. Many of the same services at disaster recovery centers are also available the following ways:

  • Online at DisasterAssistance.gov
  • Call the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-FEMA (3362). Persons who are deaf, hard of hearing or have a speech disability and use a TTY may call 800-462-7585. Toll-free numbers are open daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Help is available in most languages and information on how to register is available in American Sign Language at www.fema.gov/media-library/assets/videos/111546
  • Locate your closest disaster recovery center at www.fema.gov/DRC
