Asistencia Pública

FEMA helps state, local, tribal, and territorial governments and certain types of private nonprofit organizations respond to and recover from major disasters or emergencies. After an event like a hurricane, tornado, earthquake or wildfire, communities need help to cover their costs to remove debris, rebuild roads and restore public buildings such as community centers, businesses, schools, houses of worship and more.

Complete Requests for Public Assistance Before the Deadline
Salem, Ore. – The deadline is approaching for Oregon state, eligible local governments and certain nonprofits to submit Requests for Public Assistance to the Oregon Department of Emergency Management for costs due to the severe winter storms, straight-line winds, landslides and mudslides that occurred Jan. 10-22, 2024.
