DENVER – Sunday evening, FEMA authorized the use of federal funds to help with firefighting costs for the Silver King Fire burning in Paiute County Utah, near Marysvale.

An upcoming art exhibition highlighting climate change and resilience will open in Denver on June 28. The exhibition is part of FEMA’s ArtWorks initiative. New flood maps have been developed for Golden Valley County and the City of Beach. If residents or businesses feel there is an error in the map, they have a 90-day period to provide scientific or engineering data.
