Disaster Recovery Center in Northampton County Closing but Help Still Available

HARRISBURG, PA – The FEMA disaster recovery center in Northampton County at Northampton County EOC, 100 Gracedale Ave, Nazareth will cease operations on Friday, Oct. 29 at 7:00 p.m.

After the center closes, survivors whose homes or businesses were affected by the recent disaster can still register for assistance, get updates about applications, learn about the appeals process or check the status of their claim the following ways:

  • Online at DisasterAssistance.gov
  • Call the FEMA Helpline at 1-800-621-3362. Help is available in most languages. Persons who are deaf, hard of hearing or have a speech disability and use a TTY may call 1-800-462-7585. If you use 711 or VRS (Video Relay Service) or require accommodations while visiting a center, call 1-800-621-3362. The toll-free numbers are open daily from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. EDT.

Deadline to register for assistance is Nov. 10

Recovery officials encourage Pennsylvania residents who registered for disaster assistance with FEMA to stay in touch. If survivors change addresses or phone numbers, they should contact FEMA to update their information. Missing or erroneous information could result in delays in receiving assistance.
