If you are a survivor of the 2023 Maui wildfires, and you are in FEMA’s Direct Housing Program, the following information may help guide you through the rental payment process.

If you were affected by the February severe storms and flooding and your pre-disaster primary residence was located in Breathitt, Clay, Estill, Floyd, Harlan, Johnson, Knott, Lee, Letcher, Martin, Owsley, Perry, Pike or Simpson counties, you may be eligible for Displacement Assistance.

Kentucky residents who experienced damage from the February severe storms, straight-line winds, flooding, landslides and mudslides may be eligible for FEMA assistance. Homeowners and renters in Breathitt, Clay, Estill, Floyd, Harlan, Johnson, Knott, Lee, Letcher, Martin, Owsley, Perry, Pike and Simpson counties are encouraged to apply.
