Region III: Mission Support Division


The Mission Support Division provides overall administrative and information technology support as well as oversees the security requirements for the day-to-day operations of the regional office and disaster operations.


Administrative Services Branch

The Administrative Services Branch provides the below services to the Region and Joint Field Offices (JFOs):

Acquisition to include:

  • Request for Proposals

  • Solicit Technical Proposals

  • Contract Support

    • Award and Modifications

    • Monitoring

    • Closeout

  • Manage the Region III Commercial Purchase Card Program

Human Capital Management which includes:

  • Talent Acquisition

  • Performance Management

  • Payroll Processing

  • Incident Management Workforce to include the FEMA Deployment Tracking System (DTS)

Administrative and Support Services which includes:

  • Mail Management

  • Records and Forms Management

  • Transit subsidy

Facility and Property Management which includes:

  • Property Management

  • Lease Management with the General Services Administration (GSA)

  • Supply Management

  • Furniture and Equipment Management

  • Safety and Security

Information Technology (IT) Branch

The IT Branch provides and manages the facilities information technology infrastructure to support regional activities as identified below. For disaster operations, this branch provides information technology services and assets.

Activities include:

  • Network Administration and Maintenance

  • Virtual Server and Desktop Administration and Maintenance

  • End User Support Services

  • Mobile Device Support

  • SharePoint Administration and Maintenance

  • Audio Visual System Support

  • Information Systems Security
