Project Description
Pasco County will elevate a single-family home that has two repetitive and severe repetitive loss claims and is located in the coastal AE flood zone with a Base Flood Elevation (BFE) of 11 feet. The home will be elevated on a stem wall with footers supported on pilings (if needed) due to the structure’s lowest floor elevation being 5.3 feet. The home must be raised at least 7.7 feet to meet the proposed minimum design flood elevation of 13 feet and will prevent floodwaters from reaching the living areas. It will protect the home against a 100-year storm event.
