Disaster Recovery Center in Sauk County to Close on Nov.17

Madison, Wis. – The Sauk County Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Reedsburg will permanently close on Saturday, November 17 at 3 p.m.

Survivors of the late summer storms and flooding can continue to visit other DRCs in the area.  To find a location, visit FEMA.gov/DRC.
  
Survivors can register for federal assistance in one of the following ways:

• Online at DisasterAssistance.gov;
• Use the FEMA App; or
• Call 800-621-3362 (including 711 or Video Relay).  People who use a TTY may call 800-462-7585. The toll-free numbers are open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week. Multilingual operators are available.

The last day to register for FEMA assistance is December 17, 2018.

Nine Wisconsin counties have been approved for individual assistance including Crawford, Dane, Juneau, La Crosse, Marquette, Monroe, Richland, Sauk and Vernon counties.

If you are deaf, hard of hearing or have a speech disability and use a TTY, call 800-462-7585. All Disaster Recovery Centers are physically accessible and equipped to accommodate disaster survivors who need communication access. If you require an accommodation (ASL interpreter, braille, large print, etc.,) while visiting a Disaster Recovery Center, just ask a FEMA representative.
