FEMA is seeking public feedback from state, local, tribal and territorial (SLTT) stakeholders and the general public on how communities use Mitigation funding through the Public Assistance Program.


This course is designed to present information on the risks posed by natural hazards, and the basic scientific and engineering concepts for hazard-resistant buildings and facilities. The course reviews information pertaining to impacts of wind, flood, earthquake, and wildland/urban interface fire on the constructed environment and explains key performance and construction issues related to floods, wind, wildfires, and earthquakes.

The FEMA Tender of Service Program will be conducting a virtual Q&A session to assist Transportation Service Providers (TSPs) with onboarding and to answer their questions about the program.

The Field Leadership Directorate, within the Office of Response and Recovery at FEMA, is searching for experienced disaster management leaders for the launch of a new National Incident Management Assistance Team (IMAT) focused on Homeland Security Incidents. This team will be tasked with responding to incidents that fall outside of the authorities of the Stafford Act but require a coordinated federal or DHS response.
