Today, December 22, is the last day to apply for FEMA disaster assistance for homeowners and renters in St. Clair County. If you had property damage or losses caused by the July 25-28 severe storms and flooding, or if you had to relocate because your apartment complex was damaged, you may be eligible for federal disaster assistance.
The Disaster Recovery Center in St. Clair County, located at the Clyde Jordan Senior Citizen Center, 6755 State St. in East St. Louis, will be closing permanently one day early due to inclement weather.
Homeowners and renters affected by the July 25-28 flooding in St. Clair County have until December 22 to apply for FEMA disaster assistance. If you had property damage or losses caused by the flooding, or if you had to relocate because your apartment complex was damaged, you may be eligible for federal disaster assistance.
