FEMA Emergency Management Specialist hands out literature to residents at the Elmont Home Depot as part of the third annual Hurricane Preparedness Workshops. More than 700 Home Depot stores from the Gulf Coast to New England participated; FEMA employees volunteered at many of the Home Depot locations for the one-day event that served to raise awareness and help residents prepare for hurricane season, which begins June 1.
