La’ Toya Prieur previously served as the Deputy Executive Director, Operations at VBA Office of Human Capital Services. She was the principal advisor to the Office of Human Capital Services Executive Director on Title 5 recruitment, staffing, personnel action processing, and benefits. This includes policy development, planning, directing, implementation, compliance, and oversight of all Federal and VA recruitment and staffing operations.
Ms. Prieur served as the Director, Office of Staff Operations where she was responsible for the effective and efficient operation of VBAs five (5) Human Resources Centers located in Baltimore, MD; Denver, CO; Des Moines, IA; Detroit, MI; and, Jackson, MS. Ms. Prieur is an Army Veteran and recipient of the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, and Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.
