FEMA specialists can answer questions and offer home improvement tips and proven methods to prevent or reduce damage from the next disaster. Specialists will also suggest techniques to build hazard-resistant homes. Most of the information and free publications provided are aimed at do-it-yourself work and general contractors.
Recovery topics include flood insurance, elevating utilities and rebuilding flooded homes.
All information and assistance is available in English and Spanish.
