SACRAMENTO, Calif. – A FEMA Mobile Registration Intake Center serving wildfire survivors in Santa Cruz County will operate through Oct. 21.

The center is part of ongoing response and recovery mission for FEMA and the State of California to support survivors affected by the CZU August Complex wildfires.

It is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday in a parking lot at 205 Front St., Santa Cruz, across from the Kaiser Permanente Arena. It is closed Sundays.

Survivors can register with FEMA in one of three ways:

  • online at www.disasterassistance.gov;
  • by downloading the FEMA app to a smartphone or tablet;
  • or by calling the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362 (TTY 800-462-7585) between 7 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. PDT. If you use a relay service such as a videophone, Innocaption or CapTel, provide FEMA the specific number assigned to that service when you register.
  • The helpline staff can also answer questions about applications already submitted.
