The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has published a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and updated Draft Implementation Plan for NFIP (National Flood Insurance Program)- ESA (Endangered Species Act) Integration in Oregon. Public comments can be submitted from Aug. 22 to Oct. 6, 2025.
Communities, agencies, and the public are encouraged to review and share comments on the alternatives and their potential benefits and impacts on people, endangered species, and the environment. Comments on the Draft EIS should be specific and inform the Agency’s selection among the alternatives.

- Learn about potential changes to the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) in the Oregon plan area
- Review and comment on the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and the potential benefits and impacts of alternatives
- Hear from FEMA staff

FEMA will record and consider all input received during the comment period.
