Event Details

The North Dakota Department of Water Resources and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Region 8 have partnered to generate statewide Base Level Engineering data for all 53 North Dakota counties.  One effort resulting from this was to restudy and update flood risk information in Stark County. FEMA will be participating in an open house in Dickinson to discuss the revised preliminary Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs) issued on April 6, 2022. The revised maps reflect administrative changes made to the previous preliminary maps, issued in December 2019.

Join the City of Dickinson, Stark County, the North Dakota Department of Water Resources, and FEMA on Thursday, August 25th to review this project.
