Event Details
Disaster Preparedness and Older Adults: A Conversation with Partners and Stakeholders will bring together community-based organizations, federal agencies, and emergency management professionals to discuss disaster preparedness resources, programs, and services for older adults. The Summit will also feature a preview of the 2023 National Ready Campaign materials, which will focus on disaster preparedness for older adults.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Office of External Affairs (OEA), DHS Center for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships, and FEMA Region 3 look forward to providing a space for community-based organizations to share the unique challenges, needs, and capabilities of older adults in emergency preparedness in order to strengthen federal response efforts.
