Under grounding of Electrical Lines Progresses on St. John after Hurricanes
St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands, Feb. 14, 2022 -- A Haugland Virgin Islands crew works on the installation of electrical tubes on King Street near the intersection of Prince Street in Cruz Bay. FEMA has approved $201,732,240 for the Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority (WAPA) to manage electrical distribution permanent repairs on St. John. WAPA plans to bury electrical lines from Cruz Bay to the Myrah Keating Smith Community Health Center in Susannaberg. VA Task Force 1 in St. Croix, USVI

Recovery Work Continues at Abraham School
St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, Feb. 3, 2022 -- A worker from Customs Builders focuses on repairs to a restroom the Gladys Abraham School. The school was damaged during hurricanes Irma and Maria in September 2017. The U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Educaiton plans to move the Wheatley Skills Center to the site once it is repaired.
