A Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) will open tomorrow, June 4 in Phelps County to assist Missourians who sustained damage to their primary residence, personal property, or have emergency needs due to the severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes and wildfires on March 14-15, 2025.
Residents and business owners who applied for federal assistance because of damage from the severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes and wildfires that occurred March 14-15, 2025 will soon be contacted by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) damage inspectors.
Missourians in 18 counties impacted by the severe storms March 14-15 are now eligible to apply for assistance to help support their disaster recovery. It’s free, and as easy as a 20- minute phone call or a click online.
FEMA announced that federal disaster assistance is available to the state of Missouri to supplement recovery efforts in the areas affected by the severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes and wildfires on March 14-15, 2025.
