FRANKFORT, Ky. –Twenty-four additional counties in the Commonwealth of Kentucky have been added to the major disaster declaration for Kentucky’s severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes, flooding, landslides, and mudslides and flooding that began April 2 and continuing.

FRANKFORT, Ky. – If you applied for FEMA assistance after the April severe storms, straight-line winds, flooding, landslides and mudslides, you’ll receive a letter from FEMA in the mail or by email. This is your determination letter.

Section 408(e) of The Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act, P.L. 93-288, as amended, 42 U.S.C. 5121 et. Seq., gives FEMA the authority to award Child Care Assistance through the Other Needs Assistance (ONA) provision of the Individuals and Households Program (IHP).

FRANKFORT, Ky. — Kentucky residents who were affected by the April 2 severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes, landslides and mudslides may be eligible for disaster assistance even if you have insurance.

FRANKFORT, Ky. – Kentucky homeowners in disaster-declared counties whose wells or septic systems were damaged by the April severe storms, straight-line winds, flooding, landslides and mudslides may be eligible for financial help from FEMA. Septic systems and wells are generally not covered by flood insurance.
