Now is the time to apply for assistance from FEMA. The Nov. 16 deadline is just five days away for Louisiana residents with damage from Hurricane Francine who live in Ascension, Assumption, Lafourche, Jefferson, St. Charles, St. James, St. John the Baptist, St. Mary and Terrebonne parishes.
The Disaster Recovery Center in Terrebonne Parish for those affected by Hurricane Francine will be closed Monday, Nov. 11 for Veteran’s Day
After Louisiana residents apply for disaster assistance, FEMA may call to schedule an inspection of the damaged home or to obtain more information to process the application. These calls may come from unfamiliar area codes or phone numbers.
The Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Morgan City will close at 1 p.m., Friday, Nov. 8. However, help is just a mouse click, phone call or a tap on the FEMA app away.
