FEMA is opening two Disaster Recovery Centers in Harris County August 7 to provide one-on-one help to Texans affected by Hurricane Beryl.
Homeowners and renters in Austin, Bowie, Shelby, Trinity, and Waller counties are now eligible for FEMA assistance after Hurricane Beryl.
FEMA assistance is limited to basic needs. It will not restore all property lost due to Hurricane Beryl. Insurance coverage is the best way to recover after a disaster. However, FEMA assistance for personal property may be available if you are uninsured or underinsured.
