WASHINGTON — FEMA announced that federal emergency aid has been made available for the state of Iowa to supplement state, tribal and local recovery efforts in the areas affected by the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic beginning on January 20, 2020, and continuing.

KANSAS CITY – The Federal Emergency Management Agency has obligated more than $44 million to the State of Iowa for eligible work in the COVID-19 response. These funds were obligated Saturday, April 4, under major disaster declaration (FEMA-4483-DR) approved March 23.
