NASHVILLE, Tenn. – FEMA has approved a grant of $1,199,686 for the State of Tennessee to help Mount Juliet recover the cost of removing debris after the March tornadoes.

FEMA Public Assistance funds will reimburse the city for the cost of removing more than 114,000 cubic yards of debris from public roads, property and rights-of-way after the storm.

NASHVILLE – The deadline for individuals and households in Davidson, Putnam and Wilson counties to apply for FEMA disaster assistance has passed, but work continues on Tennessee’s recovery from the March 3 tornadoes.

Survivors in Davidson, Putnam and Wilson counties who registered with FEMA can check the status of their applications, ask questions and get information in several ways:

NASHVILLE – Tennesseans who have uninsured losses resulting from the March 3 tornadoes have until Monday, May 4, 2020 to register with FEMA for assistance.

Survivors in Davidson, Putnam and Wilson counties can register with FEMA in several ways:

NASHVILLE – After registering for federal disaster assistance, it is important that FEMA be able to contact you. Be aware that phone calls from FEMA may appear to come from unidentified numbers and make sure that FEMA has your current contact information.

FEMA currently is calling some survivors in Davidson, Putnam and Wilson counties to conduct a remote house inspection, via telephone, in order to be able to continue processing their application for assistance after the March 3 tornadoes. FEMA also may contact survivors to obtain more information for their application.
