Oklahoma homeowners, renters and businesses of all sizes can apply for low-interest disaster loans through the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to help recover from the May 18-27 severe storms and tornadoes.
SBA representatives are meeting with survivors in the Business Recovery Center in Moore. Representatives are also available in Disaster Recovery Centers in Carney, Norman, Oklahoma City and Shawnee.
Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDLs) through SBA can help businesses that were not physically damaged or destroyed by a disaster but suffered financial losses due to its disruptions. EIDL loans provide working capital to help small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives, small businesses engaged in aquaculture, and most private, nonprofit organizations of all sizes.
