WASHINGTON – The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) continued ongoing conversations with the National Low Income Housing Coalition. Acting Assistant Administrator for Recovery Keith Turi and Acting Director of Intergovernmental Affairs Robert Nadeau met with NLIHC President and CEO Diane Yentel to discuss overall housing strategies for disaster survivors. The conversation centered around transitional sheltering assistance, state actions for medium term rentals, and data requests. The NLIHC provided suggestions for future actions for consideration. FEMA invited the NLIHC to attend the upcoming Partner Strategy Session on May 15.
