GUAYNABO, Puerto Rico– FEMA staff continue working with members of the Puerto Rico Emergency Management Agency to respond to Gov. Ricardo Rossello’s April 18 request for a third extension of the Transitional Sheltering Assistance program.
FEMA and PREMA staff are coordinating a path forward for Hurricane Maria survivors based on the Governor’s request.
FEMA has granted Governor Rossello’s two previous extension requests of the TSA program based upon the criteria the government of Puerto Rico set forth. FEMA is committed to continue working jointly with the Governor and PREMA officials.
