Mitigation eGrants (MT eGrants) System Resources

The Mitigation eGrants (MT eGrants) system is used to manage federal non-disaster grants (Flood Mitigation Assistance and Pre-Disaster Mitigation) that were awarded in fiscal year 2019 and earlier.

Please refer to FEMA GO for new applications beginning in fiscal year 2020. The resources below include reference guides, frequently asked questions and job aids that will help MT eGrants users with navigating issues with the use of the system.

To access eGrants, contact your FEMA regional office to obtain the special Access ID (access code) that will allow you to create your User ID and password and to request access to eGrants.

MT eGrants Checklist for Closeouts of Awards and Subawards

These job aids were created to support FEMA reviewers working in FEMA’s eGrants Internal System to close out subawards and federal awards. The Recipient has primary responsibility for the closeout tasks for the federal award and its subawards, as detailed in the FEMA-State Agreement, award letter, and the Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA) Guidance.
