North Dakota; Amendment No. 1 to Notice of a Major Disaster Declaration

AGENCY: Federal Emergency Management Agency, Emergency Preparedness and Response Directorate, Department of Homeland Security.

ACTION: Notice.

SUMMARY: This notice amends the notice of a major disaster declaration for the State of North Dakota (FEMA-1515-DR), dated May 5, 2004, and related determinations.

EFFECTIVE DATE: June 9, 2004.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The notice of a major disaster declaration for the State of North Dakota is hereby amended to include the following areas among those areas determined to have been adversely affected by the catastrophe declared a major disaster by the President in his declaration of May 5, 2004:

Bottineau, Burke, Mountrail, Renville, Towner, and Ward Counties for Public Assistance.

All counties and the Tribal Reservations of the Three Affiliated Tribes, Spirit Lake Tribe, Standing Rock Sioux Tribe (that portion of the reservation that lies within the State of North Dakota), and the Turtle Mountain Band of the Chippewa in the State of North Dakota are eligible to apply for assistance under the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program.
