The state of Arkansas, FEMA and U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) will offer face-to-face help at four additional sites this week for residents affected by the March 14-15 and April 2-22 severe storms, tornadoes and flooding.
In coordination with the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM), FEMA and U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) staff will open four Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs) on May 28 to offer face-to-face help to residents of the four South Texas counties affected by the severe storms and flooding that occurred March 26-28.
After Arkansas residents apply for FEMA assistance, a home inspection may be necessary to verify damage from the March 14-15 or April 2-22 severe storms, tornadoes and flooding.
Arkansas homeowners and renters that were affected by severe storms in March or April may apply for FEMA disaster assistance online, by phone or in person.
