LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Monday, July 14, is the last day to apply for federal disaster assistance if you had damage from the destructive storms and tornadoes that cut across north-central and northeast Arkansas in March.

After Tennesseans apply for FEMA disaster assistance for the April 2-24 severe storms, a home inspection may be necessary to help determine whether the home is safe, sanitary and livable.
This afternoon FEMA authorized the use of federal funds to help with firefighting costs for the Deer Creek Fire burning in San Juan County, Utah about 30 miles southeast of Moab. The fire started July 10, 2025 and has burned more than 7500 acres of state and private land; it is 0-percent contained. There are also three other large fires burning uncontrolled within the state of Utah.
FEMA’s Mobile Disaster Recovery Centers in Dickson and Cheatham counties are closing permanently Saturday, July 12. The deadline for homeowners and renters in Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Dyer, Hardeman, McNairy, Montgomery, Obion and Wilson counties to apply for FEMA assistance is Aug. 19.
AUSTIN, Texas – Homeowners and renters in Burnet, San Saba, Tom Green, Travis and Williamson counties are now eligible for FEMA disaster assistance after the severe storms, straight-line winds and flooding that began July 2.
The Disaster Recovery Center in Scott County is scheduled to close permanently on Friday, July 18 at 7 p.m.
Disaster Recovery Centers in St. Louis City and St. Louis County will have new operating hours beginning this Sunday, July 13 to assist residents and businesses affected by the May 16 disaster. All locations will be closed on Sundays.
FEMA announced that federal disaster assistance is available to the state of New Mexico to supplement response efforts due to emergency conditions resulting from severe storms, flooding and landslides beginning on June 23, 2025, and continuing.
Preliminary flood risk information and updated Flood Insurance Rate Maps are available for review by residents and business owners in affected communities in Belknap County, New Hampshire. Residents and business owners are encouraged to review the latest information to learn about local flood risks and potential future flood insurance requirements.
AUSTIN, Texas – If you sustained damage from the March 26-28 severe storms and flooding, and initially did not receive FEMA assistance because of insurance coverage, you may now be eligible. For residents in Cameron, Hidalgo, Starr and Willacy counties, if your insurance did not cover all damages or if your reimbursement is delayed, FEMA may be able to help.
