The city of Nassau will raise 19 homes to prevent future damage.
Nassau Bay, Texas: $4.95 million
The city of Nassau proposes to raise 19 homes with 15 Severe Repetitive and Repetitive Loss claims among them. This project will raise each home to at least two feet above the Base Flood Elevation per the city's freeboard requirements. Homeowners can choose to raise their homes higher at their own expense. The design phase will inform the method used for homes with attached garages and also inform whether each home needs ramps and/or lifts.
