The city of New Orleans will elevate four structures in Orleans Parish that have received four paid flood insurance claims. It will also include site-stabilization measures to reduce the impacts of subsidence on the structure and reduce stormwater runoff burden on the city’s drainage system. Elevating these structures will mitigate the risk of future floods.
