Reset Main Location
Follow these steps to reset the main location on the FEMA App.
Step 1.
On the home screen, click on the Settings icon in the top right corner.

Step 2.
Click on the tab under “Your Main Location.”

Step 3.
You will see the screen with your current “Main Location”. Click “Delete Location” in the middle of the screen.

Step 4.
A confirmation pop-up will appear. Click "OK" to confirm the deletion.

Step 5.
You are now back on the “Settings” screen. Click on “Add your main location” under “Your Main Location.”

Step 5a.
There is another way to reset the Main Alerts: Click on the “Locations and Settings” button on the “Settings” screen.

Step 6.
Both steps with take you to the “Locations and Alerts” screen. Click on “Add your main location” under “Main Location.”

Step 7.
You are now in the “Main Location” screen. Enter the 5-digit zip code to your new location.

Step 8.
When you are done, click the top left arrow, “Save”, or “Close” at the bottom to save your location and return to “Settings.”

Step 9.
If you came to the Main Location tab from “Settings,” it will return you to “Settings.” Click the arrow in the upper left corner to take you to the home screen.

Step 9a.
If you came to the Main Location tab from “Locations and Alerts,” it will return you to “Locations and Alerts.” Click the arrow in the upper left corner to take you to the home screen.

Step 10.
You are now back on the FEMA App home screen with your new main location set and saved for alerts.

You can now set additional other locations, if wanted.
