"The EMX program has proven value for the agency and participants. Having worked directly for the State of Texas, I've found my state-level experience gives me a unique perspective that proves invaluable in carrying out our mission. Embracing diverse viewpoints, as emphasized by the EMX program, not only benefits FEMA but also enhances the overall understanding and effectiveness of emergency management across all levels. It's a testament to the program's commitment to excellence and innovation in fostering collaboration across the emergency management enterprise.”

Traci Brasher, EMX Senior Executive Sponsor and Deputy Regional Administrator Region 6
