If you received a letter from FEMA saying that the information you provided is incomplete, you are ineligible for disaster assistance, or you disagree with the amount of FEMA assistance determined, you have the right to appeal the decision within 60 days of the date on the letter.

FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell announced that President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. made additional disaster assistance available to the state of New Mexico by authorizing an increase in the level of federal funding for debris removal and emergency protective measures in the areas affected by the South Fork fire, the Salt fire and flooding from June 17, 2024, and continuing.
