This virtual public meeting is a chance for Denver County residents and stakeholders to ask FEMA and Mile High Flood District (MHFD) about the new flood maps and flood risk for areas near Harvard Gulch, Dry Gulch (Harvard Gulch Tributary), Sanderson Gulch and Sloan’s Lake Drainageway. They can also learn about the community’s role in the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).


Provides an overview of the federal procurement under grant rules for recipients and subrecipients when purchasing under a FEMA mitigation grant.


Oregon Department of Emergency Management staff are conducting virtual Applicant Briefings to give an overview of the Public Assistance program and process. The briefings are approximately 60 minutes.


FEMA’s Grant Programs Directorate (GPD) is offering a series of 30-minute training webinars on the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA), a part of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA). These virtual trainings will be facilitated by GPD’s Buy America Branch (BAB) and offered on various dates from April through August 2024. The trainings will cover a variety of topics related to BABAA, including roles and responsibilities, best practices, covered products, and waivers.
