The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) urges homeowners and individuals in Puerto Rico who suffered flood damages due to recent flooding events to promptly file claims through their insurance agent or company.

It has been one year since Typhoon Mawar caused the island of Guam to announce a major
disaster declaration. More than $338 million in federal assistance has been provided to survivors in Guam to
include grants from FEMA through the Individual Assistance and Public Assistance Programs, and low-interest
disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). To-date, FEMA remains in the affected
communities, working with local and state officials to provide Public Assistance grants and temporary housing.

PHILADELPHIA – The Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will evaluate a Biennial Radiological Emergency Preparedness Exercise for Delaware communities around the Salem &Hope Creek Generating Stations.
