    FEMA Mitigation Specialist Assists Louisville, CO Resident

  • Nebraska Task Force 1 joined four other task force teams being deployed to Colorado: Missouri, Utah, Nevada and Colorado. Each Urban Search and Rescue Task Force team consists of around 17 vehicles, 80 specialty team members, four search and rescue dogs, and nearly 100,000 pounds of specialty technology and equipment. They were there to help with the search and rescue efforts following massive flooding in the state in September 2013.

    Five Urban Search & Rescue (US&R) Task Force Teams Respond to Colorado Flooding

    Nebraska Task Force 1 joined four other task force teams being deployed to Colorado: Missouri, Utah, Nevada and Colorado. Each Urban Search and Rescue Task Force team consists of around 17 vehicles, 80 specialty team members, four search and rescue dogs, and nearly 100,000 pounds of specialty technology and equipment.
