APPROVES MAJOR DISASTER DECLARATION FOR MARYLAND [https://www.fema.gov/press-release/20210204/president-joseph-r-biden-jr-approves-major-disaster-declaration-maryland] Release Date: 二月 4, 2021 WASHINGTON -- FEMA announced federal disaster assistance has been made available to the state of Maryland to supplement state and local recovery efforts in the areas affected by Tropical Storm Isaias from Aug. 3-4, 2020. Federal funding is available to state and eligible local governments and certain private nonprofit organizations on a cost-sharing basis for emergency work and the repair or replacement of facilities damaged by the Tropical Storm Isaias in Calvert, Dorchester and St. Mary’s counties. Federal funding is also available on a cost-sharing basis for hazard mitigation measures statewide. E. Craig Levy, Sr. has been named as the Federal Coordinating Officer for federal recovery operations in the affected area. Levy said additional designations may be made at a later date if requested by the state and warranted by the results of further assessments.
