STATE/FEMA DISASTER RECOVERY CENTER IN CHARLTON COUNTY CLOSES SATURDAY [https://www.fema.gov/press-release/20250121/statefema-disaster-recovery-center-charlton-county-closes-saturday] Release Date: Tháng 10 11, 2017 BRUNSWICK, Ga. — The Georgia Emergency Management Agency and the Federal Emergency Management Agency are closing the Charlton County mobile Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Folkston this Saturday. Survivors have until 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, to visit the DRC in Folkston. Working with county officials, GEMA and FEMA closely monitor visits to DRCs. Centers close when traffic slows at those locations. This allows centers to open in new areas. The center is located at: 426 Rosa Parks Rd.Folkston, GA 31537 Hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Saturday, Oct. 14. Survivors can visit any Disaster Recovery Center. DRCs are accessible facilities survivors can visit to speak face-to-face with representatives from the state, FEMA, SBA, and other recovery partners.
