Partner Voices Audio Series
To continue advancing conversations around equity and resilience, the RNPN produced the “Partner Voices” narratives featured in the “Building Alliances for Equitable Resilience” resource. The stories were authored from the perspectives of four diverse partners with narration from Justin Knighten, FEMA director of External Affairs.

Insights and Reflections
“Insights and Reflections” are co-developed after each Resilience Exchange and Ideation Hour with input from the panelists of each event. They highlight the main takeaways from each discussion and serve as valuable resources that can be shared and referenced for continued learning.
On Wednesday, April 27, four student panelists shared their unique perspectives on Adapting to Future Risk. During the event, established professionals learned about youthful, innovative ideas on natural hazard resilience and climate change.
On March 30, 2022, the RNPN hosted a Resilience Exchange on the connection between arts and adaptation. The gathering highlighted how art can create meaningful connections and encourage resilience projects.
The RNPN and the Department of Homeland Security Center for Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships hosted the February Ideation Hour. The gathering explored how to strengthen climate equity for the Whole Community. The virtual event included discussions on promoting climate resilience through youth engagement; building climate literacy (where do we start?); fostering resilience at the neighborhood level; and building equity into mitigation actions.
Held on Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2022 from 1-2 p.m. ET, the kickoff provided opportunities to address our most pressing challenges together and create a more resilient nation for all communities. This recap includes discussion summaries, resources and upcoming events based on the following topics: specific resilience challenges RNPN partners could help solve in 2022; upcoming opportunities to collaborate with RNPN partners; ways RNPN partners can help advance organizational priorities in 2022; and upcoming events, meetings and conferences.
