Record of Environmental Consideration REVISED FOR FEMA ENVIRONMENTAL --LOUISIANA April 2007 See 44 Code of Federal Regulation Part 10 Project Name/Number; Lee Street Drainage Pump Station/ PW 15982 / FIPS 103-70805-00 Applicant Name: Slidell Project Location: Intersection of Lee Street and Front Street, Slidell, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana (30.26707N, 89.78893W) Project Description: On 29 August 2005, floodwaters associated with Hurricane Katrina damaged the City of Slidell's Lee Street drainage pump station. The facility is located near the corner of Lee Street and Front Street and pumps the local drainage into Camellia Channel. The damaged facility consists of pumps, generator, and associated appurtenances. The damaged items consist ofgenerator, transfer switch, and appurtenances, as listed on the following page; however, the pumps were not damaged. In order to restore the damaged facility to pre-disaster condition the following items will be repaired or replaced: one lOOkw generator, 120/240v, 3 phase; one mainline circuit breaker; one 379 gallon dual wall subbase fuel tank, 48-hr run time; one battery; one battery charger; one weather-proof enclosure; one critical grade muffler; one block heater, one automatic transfer switch, 120/240v, 3 phase, Nema 3r. In addition to the above repairs, this project has a Hazard Mitigation Proposal. The mitigation measure is to erect a 10' x 20' x 8'h (200 square foot) galvanized steel platform to elevate damaged elements, including the generator, fuel tank, and transfer switch.
