Gruber Acting Assistant Secretary SUBJECT: Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Fiscal Year (FY) 2007 Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP) Program Guidance and Application Kit The Office of Grants and Training (G&T) is pleased to announce the availability of the FY 2007 HSGP Program Guidance and Application Kit. FY 2007 HSGP again integrates the following five programs into a streamlined set of grant program guidelines: the State Homeland Security Program (SHSP), the Urban Areas Security Initiative (UASI) program, the Law Enforcement Terrorism Prevention Program (LETPP), the Metropolitan Medical Response System (MMRS), and the Citizen Corps Program (CCP). The State Administrative Agency (SAA) is the only agency eligible to apply for FY 2007 HSGP funds. Additional information on the program is provided at http://www.ojp.usdoj.gov/odp/grants_ programs.htm. Eligible applicants must apply through the online Grants.gov system at http://www.grants.gov. The appropriate Authorized Organization Representative must be listed in the Grants.gov submission. The Grants.gov customer support hotline is 1-800-518-4726 and the hours are Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time. The completed FY 2007 HSGP application must be received by G&T no later than April 5, 2007, 11:59 p.m., Eastern Standard Time. G&T will evaluate applications and act on these applications no later than July 3, 2007.
