You qualify for this position at the GS-11level (starting salary $72,340) if you possessthe following: One full year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade (GS-9) in the Federal Service. This experience may have been gained in the federal government, a state or local government, a non-profit organization, the private sector, or as a volunteer; however, your resume must clearly describe at least one year of specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes: Providing technical support required to maintain systems, evaluate problem and take corrective actions; and
Preforming analysis of routine applications of information technology (hardware and software), and implementation of information systems to meet organizational requirements; and, Planning the delivery of technical support services, including troubleshooting, installation, removal, moves, system assistance, and training in response to customer requirements. OR
Ph.D. or equivalent graduate degree
3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree orLL.M., if related
A combination of education and experience described above. You qualify for this position at the GS-12 level (starting salary $86,706) if you possessthe following: One full year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade (GS-11) in the Federal Service. This experience may have been gained in the federal government, a state or local government, a non-profit organization, the private sector, or as a volunteer; however, your resume must clearly describe at least one year of specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes: Implementing and supporting virtual server and virtual desktop environments; and
Providing serves technical support including cyber security for LAN and system support; and
Implementing, planning, and evaluating studies to develop long range IT solutions; and
Developing and interpreting information technology policies, procedures and utilizing the system change request process system. AND
In addition to the Specialized experience requirements above, you must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.
