Regional News and Information

FEMA has approved $1.5 million in additional Public Assistance funding for the Magna Earthquake, which impacted Salt Lake and Davis Counties in early 2020. The assistance was made available under a major disaster declaration issued July 9, 2020. FEMA has provided more than $3.2 million in Public Assistance funds for the Magna Earthquake recovery to date.

FEMA has approved another $7.7 million in Public Assistance funding for the COVID-19 response in Colorado. The assistance was made available under a major disaster declaration issued March 28, 2020. FEMA has provided more than $1.58 billion in Public Assistance grant funds for Colorado’s COVID-19 response to date.
