Navin is an 11th grade student from Massachusetts. His wide-ranging interest in preparedness stems from personal experiences with the COVID-19 pandemic, climate change, and gun violence,

Navin learned firsthand that preparedness plays a critical role in reducing the impact of natural disasters and emergencies through his volunteer work with the American Red Cross, the American Medical Association, and the Medical Reserve Corps. His work in preparedness has also included scheduling blood drives to help maintain stable blood supplies during the pandemic and leading Psychological First Aid training for all 10 FEMA regions. Navin serves as the director of recruitment at Interns4Good, a non-profit organization that helps teens find meaningful volunteer internships.

Navin has a lifelong interest in public policy and civil service and is excited for an upcoming internship with U.S. Representative Lori Trahan. He will also participate in the FBI National Academy Associates Northeast Youth Leadership Academy. Eventually, he hopes to attend a service academy prior to going to medical school.

In his free time, Navin plays ice hockey, runs cross country, and is learning to skateboard.
