Deputy Regional Administrator (Acting)

Mr. Price is currently serving as FEMA Region 6’s Acting Deputy Regional Administrator. Prior to assuming this role, Mr. Price led the Grants Management Division in the Director role, providing direction and control, and actively implementing the Divisions goals and objectives. Furthermore, in this role Mr. Price serves as the principal advisor to the Regional Administrator in all areas of grants administration. Moreover, as Director, Mr. Price is tasked with monitoring and evaluating progress of work in relationship to these goals and objectives to ensure equity, efficiency and the effectiveness of the Divisions mission. 

Prior to serving as the Grants Management Division Director in FEMA Region 6, Mr. Price served in a variety of leadership roles at FEMA including Recovery Division Deputy Director, Hazard Mitigation Assistance Branch Chief, and Senior Mitigation Specialist for the National Flood Insurance Program. Having joined FEMA as an Natural Hazards Program Specialist within the National Flood Insurance Program in 1996, Mr. Price brought along his experience as a Technological Hazards Program Specialist for CHER-CAP and CSEPP. Lastly, Mr. Price began his career as a member of the United States Marine Corps Reserve, where he served for eight years.

Mr. Price is a graduate of the University of North Texas, Bachelor of Science degree in Emergency Administration and Planning. A resident of Trophy Club, Texas, he enjoys time with his family, which includes his wife and seven children and is active in his church.
