MEDIA ADVISORY - DRIVE-THRU DISASTER RECOVERY CENTERS OPEN AND CLOSE IN CALCASIEU PARISH [https://www.fema.gov//fact-sheet/kalkasyu-jigucalcasieu-parish-deulaibeuseulu-jaenanboggusenteo-unyeong-jeongbo] Release Date: Nov 30, 2020 BATON ROUGE, LA.–A drive-thru Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) will open Dec. 3 in Iowa to help hurricanes Laura and Delta survivors.   The DRC operates under strict COVID-19 protocols to ensure visitors are safe. Masks or face coverings are required for entry and service. Survivors remain in their cars. A specialist wearing a face mask will receive documents through the window and return them.   No appointment is necessary. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and closed on Sunday.   The drive-thru center is at:   Lawrence Toups Memorial Park 115 N Thompson Ave. Iowa, LA  70647   The DRC in Moss Bluff will close at 5 p.m. Dec 1. Moss Bluff Senior Center 2868 US Hwy 171 N Moss Bluff, LA 70611   Additional centers are open in Louisiana. Survivors may visit any open center.
